Our Story
est . 2009
Born from a love of great food, The Deli is an independent Delicatessen and Tearoom located in the heart of Ingatestone. Back in 2009, The Deli was born as a little, family run sandwich shop serving eggs on toast and bacon sandwiches.. fast forward thirteen years, and our little village shop is now a bustling local breakfast & lunch spot, serving all day breakfast, brunch and lunch, to eat in or takeaway.
Famous for our homemade sausage rolls and made to order, fresh sandwiches, The Deli has something for everyone. Whether you’re joining us for brunch in the garden in Ingatestone, or grabbing a takeaway lunch from our Warley store, the team are here six days a week, Monday - Saturday.

Warley HQ Deli
A slightly different model to our Ingatestone Deli & Tearoom, our Warley store operates on a grab and go - takeaway basis. However with a fantastic, open, communal seating area and free Wi-fi, you’re welcome to bring your laptop and WFW or catch up with friends over a coffee and famous Deli sausage roll.

Hylands Park Deli
Our newest deli offers a varied menu that, as well as our usual offering, boasts plenty of vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options. Savour fresh, made-to-order sandwiches and seasonal salads, plus our famous homemade sausage rolls, cakes, pastries and tarts crafted by staff at The Deli’s farm kitchens in West Hanningfield.
